Day 9: Tradition - Lauren

Christmas is such a special time, to me the best part (apart from my grandmothers Christmas pudding) is spending time with my family- especially the ones who I don't get to see very often.
A few years ago my mum started a new tradition that I have really come to admire.
Centre place on our table is a collection of candles. Each year, before we eat lunch we take a moment to make a toast and light each candle to represent our family and friends who aren't there with us at Christmas. Family who are overseas, family who have passed away and family who can't be there.
The candles always burn for the day and are a great reminder of what a fabulous family I am lucky to have.

Do you have any Christmas Traditions??
Have a wonderful weekend,
xx Lauren

  1. Her Wedding day is supposed to be the most special day in a bride's life. A great deal of planning goes into putting together the perfect wedding party. Many brides choose to have a special theme for their special day or to get married in unusual locations to help make this a perfect and memorable event. One option available to brides everywhere is to have a beach theme for her wedding. Those living close to water can even choose to get married on a beach.
